Traveling with toddler

It’s not an easy to travel with toddler I can say you and everybody will agree with me.
Toddlers can’t listen to adults arguments, because they simply don’t understand them.
Why should we sit calm when the sun is so bright and everything around is so interesting?
Why should we wait for train or bus?
Why, why, why…
Thousands of questions and thousands of answers. One answer lead to the nest hundred of questions.

If your journey is long be prepared to have some secret “weapon” to fight toddler unwillingness to travel so long.

What is good to please your little treasure?
- new different small toys
- crayons and paper
- new books
- favorite food or sweets really help
- modeling dough
- all-time favorite toy which can eat and sleep with toddler
- collection of favorite cartoons
- books with stickers
Don’t forget to be prepared to take part in all activities and games you take for your child. With your help everything will be much easier.
Read some poems and tell the stories. Sing if it’s possible and play jokes. Everything is good if you do it for your dearest toddler.
Be sincere and enjoy your toddler company. Children easily feel the fake joy in your eyes.
Be positive in your attitude to the trip difficulties. When you expect only bad things they surely happen with you.

  1. Very good advice. The longest trip I did was a 6 hour bus trip with Veronica when she was 2 and 1/2. We also made up stories about the things we saw outside the window. Cheers Kim
