All children love painting. My point of view that the earlier you start the better. It’s amazing activity cause it’s really developing. I noticed that since we started painting the fine motor skills of little S. better and better with each day though we haven’t done any “serious” (from the adult point of view) pictures.
A month ago we started to paint with brush. I was surprised how fast S. learned to hold the brush in her little hand. Of course she can’t make a picture without my help cause she is only 22 months old, but she likes to color different shapes I draw for her. She colors them with a very big pleasure while I’m busy cooking the dinner.
