Making development toddler happy. Step 1. Painting

Blaze of Colors

Painting brings loads of fun and happiness to toddler and have great effect on the aesthetic development toddler, creativity, and self-expression. Besides it’s very good for little fingers to become deft, what is very good for developing speech. Painting first abstract pictures is the way to express collected emotions even though you don’t know the that is a masterpiece about.

You can’t make your energetic toddler be busy with something for a long time if you just give him paints and paper and say: “Paint. It’s cool!” Start painting yourself. First he or she (or even they) will be watching. But in some time you won’t be painting alone anymore.

Don’t dictate what to do. Just participate. Forgot about your vision of painting. Imagine that you have never seen this world before and you are exploring it with your child.

Mutual desire to share your impressions will make strong bond between you and your child. Don’t worry if you have already had such bond. It will become stronger:)

We started to paint after my daughter become 1 year old though on the paints written that they are not for children under 2 years. She isn’t tired of painting after 7 months. Finger paints are easy to find in any store. For example here. Melissa & Doug Finger Paint Set 4pc

I have never problems with washing such paints and very soon I didn’t need to do this.:) I’m happy to see how much joy painting brings to my child. Hope you’ll be too!
