I Want To Give You The Whole World, Toddler!

Good parents always want to give their kids more than they had. Material and spiritual.
I think new generation have more privileges for everything. They have so many different toys we can’t dream about, cartoons, videos and so many other things. They have everything to become genious:) Of course if their parents have desire to help them.
You will say that every parent wants to help their child. Theoretically. But in practice?
Sofia has never had problems with learning any poem on any language by heart. Some weeks ago I was speaking with one friend of mine. She has a boy a month older than my Sofia. She boast that her son started to learn first poem…
I said that it’s impossible that it’s only the first poem. I said: “Ask him any poem you read him from the books you used to read him and I’m sure he knows all of them”.
Do you know what she said? She said she never read him poems, she only showed pictures.
All children are smart but some parents are stupid.
Some month ago I came across this video.
I decided to show my daughter a map just to see if she is interested in it or not. I don’t want to win her Superchild contest, I’m simply always looking for something new to intertain her because every day she wants something new.
Yes. She like the idea with map:)
Now she proudly shows every our guest:
China, USA, Canada, Mexico, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, France, Great Britain, India, Australia, Italy, Iceland, Thailand, Japan, Argentina, Brazil, Greenland, Antarctica. (to be continued).
P. S. Thank you everyone for congratulations. I’m very happy I started this blog and met so many nice people like frogpondsrock, SECRET AGENT MAMA, Maggie’s Mind, Jeanette, Vicky (Secret Mom Thoughts), connie, tiff and Sarcastic Mom
and many many others! I can’t imagine my life now without all you!

I think a map is a great idea. Anything that is interesting and interactive and educational all at once can be a wonderful opportunity to learn something new.
