This is very good way to tell your toddler the truth about life or explain some things which make him to be nervous.
My little S. was always upset because her dear Daddy has to go to his work. It was obvious that she doesn’t understand why he go there when we are so happy together.
One day when she was going to sleep I told her new fairy tale. Here it is.
Once upon a time there lived Dad, Mom and little S. One day Dad wanted lots of nice things for his lovely little princess S. But he got no money because they’d spent all their money. So he decided to go and earn some money.
He went to his work early in the morning because he didn’t want to be late. On his way he met a lot of different animals: Dog, Fox, Wolf, Bear, Panda. He help all of them and in return they went to play with S. so she didn’t feel lonely while Dad was working. ( Every time we tell this fairy tale we add some new details so if you want to use this plot you are welcome to add some other animals and actions your child like best).
After retelling this fairy tale we don’t have tears anymore when Dad go to his work, because S. knows that he’ll earn some money for his little princess S.
