Drawing on the Cereal for Developing Fine Motor Skills
Fine motor skills can be defined as small muscle movements: those that occur in the finger, in coordination with the eyes. Learning fine motor skills is similar to learning other skills. The main thing is that you must always be patient and understanding. Fine motor skills won’t develop during one day. Only time, time and practice, practice, practice. You should really enjoy different activities to make your toddler teach quickly.

How Fine Motor Skills Affect Learning:
Fine Motor skills are important in learning to speak. The better little hands are developed the easier it would be to speak for your toddler. Most school activities are based on fine motor skills abilities. Weaknesses in fine motor skills can affect a child’s ability to eat, write legibly, use a computer, turn pages in a book, and perform personal care tasks such as dressing and grooming.
Drawing on the plate with cereal will like every toddler. Their intuition tell them that it’s very good to play with small objects. They can play with the cereal for hours. This activity is good for children from 12 months and older.
Develop Fine Motor Skills – Drawing and Coloring Strengthen Fine Motor Skills:
Spend fun time drawing with your child using markers, crayons, colored pencils, and chalk. Drawings needn’t be perfect, and scribbling is just fine for developing fine motor coordination.
