Tell your toddler he is Autumn and his job is to color the trees.
Ask what colors does Autumn use to color the trees.
Give a picture with trees and say that summer is over.

When the masterpiece is ready place is in the nice place where it can be easily seen.

3 Autumn Activities to Do With Puddles

When the weather is rainy we can’t have fun outdoors but after the rain we can have a lot of fun with the puddles. This is very cute way to have good time together playing and laughing.

1. To play with paper ships in the puddles

I don’t know about you but I still like to watch the ships swimming in the water. I don’t know who likes this game more me or my daughter?:))

2. To throw stones in the puddles.

This is absolutely magic activity for me and all children all know. Everybody loves to throw stones. It’s the part of our nature. The main thing is to be dressed comfortable in something old or not very fashionable in order not to be afraid of becoming dirty.

3. Top measure the puddles in rubber boots.
The last one is so easy that doesn’t need any comments. Enjoy your autumn!

Summer was a fabulous time for different physical activity outdoors but autumn changes our activity schedule into its own way and we have to obey this rainy and sometimes nasty season. Outdoor games are still important but when the weather is rainy and cloudy even the most active children have desire to play something calm and creative. So it’s high time for Autumn Art Projects. While working with leaves or some other autumn activities don’t forget about simple rules for parents or teachers. It would be great to remember simple Halloween songs to be prepared for this interesting holiday.

December Fine Motor Skill Activity For Toddler

If you wondering what new activity or art project ideas for your toddler to entertain while the weather is bad you can try in December with toddler I hope this post can help you.
It’s very simple but at the same time positive activity for some reasons.
It’s very cheap.
It’s easy even for 18 month old toddlers.
It’s develop imagination and train fine motor skills.
It’s funny.

You can do a doggy.

You can do a car.

You can do a pig’s house and your child can pretend to be a wolf and blow it away

You can do a robot and blow away it too.

You can build even house for yourself

All that masterpieces we did listening to my daughter’s favorite Micky Mouse Christmas songs. I can’t imagine how did I live without Micky Mouse:) Is it t

Toddlers Enjoy Cutting

I know that things we don’t allow to touch our children are the most interesting.
Things we can’t afford also like a magnets for us – adults. It’s our nature.

If you don’t allow to touch a knife your toddler will dream about possibility to take it secretly. But if you allow to play with it (in your presence) knife will become a very usual thing and will be forgotten very soon.

For this purpose cutting banana was really good activity besides it’s good training for little hands.

Besides it’s good idea for making food for toddler together.

Toddler Craft And Art Project With The Leaves

This is our new masterpiece made with leaves and paints. Autumn craft and art for toddler with leaves is go on. We use some of our autumn art projects from leaves and decided to color them.

I don’t know what you think about it but both of us were happy:)

Art Project – Toddler Inspiration Place

Organizing art project for a toddler you should remember one very important thing. The art doesn’t like intrusion. Toddler should learn to feel the art and have their own opinion even if it’s different from yours. I mean that showing some pictures made by artists we don’t have to express our own judgement until we are asked.

How to Inspire a Toddler for Some Art Project?

1. Showing the paintings of famous artists

Here is good Doman method even if you don’t use it at all. Don’t think that such small children can’t understand such paintings. It’s not true. Perhaps they can understand it even better than we do because their mind isn’t overloaded with stereotypes. In other words, you can pour the tea only in the empty or half empty cup. We should always left some place for something new…

2. Painting and drawing yourself will make a toddler curious about your activity.
Paint and don’t ask toddler to join you. To pain with you will be the hottest desire:) They always want to try the things we do, not the things we ask them to try:)

3. Give new paints and paper
Something new always creates interest even if a toddler is familiar with paints and painting.

4. Don’t insist on this activity in you don’t see the interest
Insisting makes all attempts in vain. Do you like when someone force you to do something?

5. Don’t try to teach how to paint if you are not asked.
Let create the mood and impressions on the paper. The main thing is the process and positive emotions not the paintings.
