  1. Be yourself. Always. Be personality. Even if sometimes I want you to follow my advices.
  2. Be strong enough to overcome the obstacles on the way to your goal. Too many people know what to do but simply can’t reach their goal because of the lack of motivation.
  3. Never loose sense of humor. See the world in the bright colors.
  4. Be wise enough to see hearts of people around you. Develop your intuition because sometimes logic can lead to the dead end.
  5. Know real value of money. Money are not someting bad and they are not everything.
  6. Swim, sing, read, run and dance.
  7. Respect your parents and grandparents.
  8. Live a health way of life, take care about environment.
  9. Don’t be snob.

I agree – you don’t need to wait until children are older before you begin teaching them concepts like “be strong enough to overcome obstacles,” or “be yourself.” Leading by example and taking little opportunities to teach when THEY have an obstacle to overcome or to celebrate when they persevere and follow through to overcome that obstacle – those are terrific times to teach. And of course, the best way to help them understand these concepts is to lead by example.

    Great list!

It’s never to early to teach values. Rather, it can quikly be to late! If I ever have childre, I’ll probably have a very similar. I think I would also teach them to reach for the moon, and that you can do whatever you set your mind to do as long as you do the work. But also, to know one’s limitations. ;)
